Applying for Membership with Imarex and NOS Clearing

To apply for a Direct Membership you need to complete these forms: Membership Application Forms Freight.

In addition, you will need to supply: 

• Certificate of incorporation of the applicant company.
  
• Latest available audited financial statements.
  
• An authorised signature list.
  
• One of the following US tax forms in order to open a margin settlement account with DnBNOR NY:
  
  • W-8 BEN tax form fon non-US entities without a US branch or representative
  • W-8 ECI tax form for non-US entities with a US branch or representative
  • W-9 tax form for US entities

When receiving the membership papers and attachments NOS and Imarex will process them before approving the applicant as a member. This process should take no longer than a couple of weeks, providing all the relevant paperwork is in place. After approval as a member NOS will open a settlement and collateral account with DnBNOR in New York for the member.
