Imarex Daily Forward Curves
Widely used as a valuation tool for open FFA contracts, the Imarex Forward Curves are used as benchmarking tools for time-charter and spot contracts in the physical market.
Imarex publishes a full set of Forward Curves daily for each market and instrument listed on the exchange. The forward curve indicates where ship owners, charterers and traders expect the market to develop going forward.
The daily Imarex Forward Curves are available for the following markets:
- Tanker freight futures
- Dry bulk freight futures
- Bunker fuel oil swaps
Accessing the Forward Curve
Forward curves are published in the following formats:
- Excel Spreadsheet - sent out daily by email to members and subscribers.
- CSV (Comma separated variable) text file via the Imarex FTP server.
- XML (Extensible Markup Language) files via the Imarex FTP server and dynamically via our WebServices interface.
